Plan your time in Guilin.

Start with what interests you

Choose a main focus for each outing and leave room around it for meals, walking and a change of plan. The places below are ideas from our city collection, rather than a promise that every visit fits into a fixed schedule.

Group nearby stops after checking the exact addresses on a map. Keep an arrival or departure day flexible until you know your transport arrangements. If a visit needs a reservation, resolve that before building the rest of the day around it.

Choose a base for your own route

Compare Central Guilin and Yangshuo area as starting areas, then check the exact property address against the stops you want to make. A neighbourhood name alone does not tell you how the journey from your accommodation will work.

Read the final room conditions, check-in instructions and cancellation wording before confirming. Save the property’s address and contact details offline so you can find them after travelling. The accommodation guide walks through what to compare.

Arrange the journey between cities

Check China Railway for actual services, stations, durations and fares for your dates. Check both the departure and arrival station names, then plan how you will reach your accommodation. Keep the first outing after a transfer adjustable rather than committing to a tightly timed reservation.
