It is a waiting area, not a hotel. Expect lights and announcements, and keep valuables with you.
Sleeping pods in Terminal 3
The airport's sleeping pods are on the second floor of Terminal 3, in the east arrivals hall, and are open around the clock. The pod area has showers and luggage storage. Pods are booked through Chinese travel apps under the name 云小息休息区; check the current rate and availability in the app for your date.
A pod suits a short sleep between a late arrival and an early connection. If you will be at the airport for most of the night, compare its price with a hotel room nearby.
Showers without a pod
The airport has shower and changing rooms on the second floor of Terminal 3 next to baggage carousels 6 and 9, open around the clock. They are useful if you only need to freshen up before a meeting or a train.
A hotel near the airport
Choose a hotel when you want a real bed, are travelling with children, or have a morning departure after a long-haul flight. Check how the hotel connects to the terminal before you book: some run their own shuttle, others are a short taxi ride away, and the walk with luggage matters late at night.
