Henry Zhang is an internet professional who loves to travel. He lived in Beijing for more than ten years and is currently based in Shenzhen. He has also travelled to many cities in China, including Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu and Chongqing. What Henry writes
Henry writes the city guides, routes, neighbourhood walks, food, shopping and where-to-stay advice on PandaWander: the places he'd send a friend, and how he'd plan the days. Rules that can change, such as visas, entry, tickets and payments, are covered by the PandaWander Editorial Team, using official sources.
One small thing he has tried himself: he linked a Hong Kong bank card issued by HSBC to WeChat Pay. A Hong Kong card is not the same as a card issued outside China, so treat this as a reference point only. For foreign cards, follow the official guidance on our payment pages.
